Nathan Phelps, MSc
Picture
Nathan Phelps was a Research Associate with the Wildfire Analytics Team 2020-2021. He holds an MSc in Computer Science with a specialization in AI and a BSc in Actuarial Science and Data Science, both from Western University.  During his time at Wildfire Analytics, Nathan's research projects involved documenting the Alberta Wildland Fuels Inventory Program (AWFIP) database and classifying forest fuels based on field-measured attributes:
